BROTHERMAN added to the Smithsonian!

I have just learned that choice artifacts and original art from the groundbreaking independent comic Brotherman: Dictator of Discipline have been permanently secured as part of the Smithsonian's National African American Museum of History and Culture in Washington DC!

I am on record as saying that Brotherman co-creator Dawud Anyabwile is the most influential black comicbook artist ever, so even though this announcement caught me completely off guard, I also think it is 100% deserved.  This is a great accomplishment for Dawud and his brother Guy Sims who co-created Brotherman, and it's a great moment for the community of black comics creators, of which I am honored to be a part.
Nuff respect and congratulations to Baba Dawud, Guy Sims, and everyone associated with the book!

If you are missing any of the Brotherman books, please CLICK HERE to go to their website and remedy that!
Have great day!

Samax Amen is a professional Content Developer, Illustrator and Cartoonist. He is the artist of many great comics you never heard of like Herman Heed, Champion of Children, The Brother and The World As You Know It. He even writes and draws his own comics, like Dare: The Adventures of Darius Davidson, Spontaneous, and Manchild when he gets around to it. Because making comics is hard and stuff, he started GhettoManga as a blog in 2006 and as a print magazine in 2008.
